5th Book

Just finish up this book by Indigo Bloome…It’s simple. No sight. No questions. 48 hours

“Either way, what has happened, has happened, what will be, will be. I just don't know how it will end, or whether i will survive the journey.” ― Indigo Bloome, Destined to Play

There is adultery in this book which was a big negative and the main character seemed to forget about her husband and kids very quickly. The overall plot for this book started off really believeable and despite the infidelity I was starting to enjoy reading it, but this enjoyment was slightly short lived as towards the end of the book it started to become slightly far-fetched and I felt rushed. I’ll continue reading this series. One thing I can really say I loved was the way that she kept having flash backs as these gave a deeper insight into the main characters relationship, making the speed that the romance developed and trust she showed more realistic.
When 37 year old psychologist, Dr Alexandra Blake, leaves her comfortable suburban existence to give a series of lectures, she meets up with Dr Jeremy Quinn, the man who opened her eyes and body to the world in ways she never thought possible. After a few glasses of champagne in his luxurious hotel penthouse, he presents her with an extraordinary proposition. Alexandra knows that they would never promise each other something they can’t commit to and that he will challenge her every inhibition. But she soon finds herself seduced into a level of surrender –and-danger-she could have imagined.
